Request a Correction

Help us keep meeting information accurate by reporting corrections through the proper channels.

Why We Can't Edit Meeting Information Directly

The AA Directory aggregates meeting data from official AA intergroup and central office websites. To maintain data integrity and avoid duplicates, all corrections must be made at the source. This ensures that the official AA organizations maintain control of their meeting information.

How to Request a Correction

1

Find the AA Intergroup Contact Information

You can find the intergroup or central office that manages the meeting by:

2

Contact the AA Intergroup Directly

Reach out to the intergroup via their website, phone, or email to report the correction. They are the official maintainers of the meeting information and can make the necessary updates to their records.

3

Notify Us After the Update

Once the intergroup has updated their records, please let us know so we can refresh our data. Use our contact form and include:

  • The link to the meeting page on our site
  • The meeting name and location
  • A brief description of what was corrected

We'll Refresh the Data

After receiving your notification, we'll pull the updated information from the intergroup website and update our directory accordingly.

Ready to notify us of an update?

Use our contact form after the intergroup has made their corrections.

Contact Us

What if I can't find the intergroup contact information?

If the meeting page doesn't show organization details, visit your state's page where we list all intergroups, or check the AA.org Find AA page. Most areas have a dedicated AA website or phone hotline.

How long does it take for updates to appear?

Once the intergroup updates their records and you notify us, we'll refresh our data during our next scheduled sync. The timing varies depending on our update cycle and data availability.

What about online or virtual meetings?

The same process applies to online meetings. Contact the intergroup or organization that manages the virtual meeting to request any corrections to meeting times, access codes, or links.
