About AA Meetings in Bali

AA groups in Bali, Indonesia are open to anyone who wants to stop drinking, whether you live here or are just visiting.

Meetings in Bali follow the same 12-step program used worldwide. Many are conducted in the local language, but some cities also hold English-speaking meetings for international visitors.

Attending Your First Meeting

What to Expect

  • • Arrive a few minutes early to introduce yourself
  • • No obligation to speak - listening is perfectly acceptable
  • • Share only your first name to maintain anonymity
  • • Meetings typically last 60-90 minutes

Complete Confidentiality

Everything shared in AA meetings stays confidential. "Who you see here, what you hear here, when you leave here, let it stay here" is a fundamental principle that protects everyone's privacy and creates a safe space for honest sharing.

The only requirement to attend is a desire to stop drinking. Bali's AA groups welcome anyone at any stage, no prior experience needed.
