The Istituto is the Maria Immacultata Convent. Dogs are not permitted. Very close to Campo San Barnaba. From the Vaporetto Stop Ca Rezzonico, walk along the alleyway to Campo San Barnaba. When you reach the Campo, look for an Archway between two shops on your left. Walk under the archway, then over a bridge, then turn immediately to your right. Walk about thirty paces, then turn left and walk another ten. The entrance to the Convent is on the other side of the canal opposite you. Walk a little further on and then turn right to cross the canal. Then turn right and walk a few paces to the entrance.

Look on AmazonBrief passages from A.A.'s co-founder, arranged by topic. Some groups read one aloud at the top of every meeting.
Look on AmazonMembers' own short accounts of what "a Power greater than ourselves" came to mean to them. Helpful for anyone wary of the word God.
