Special Meeting Notes

Meeting Notes

"We are not a glum lot." This philosophy remains a guiding light, reminding individuals that within the darkest moments, there exists the potential for transformation, joy, and a life filled with purpose and meaning. Sobriety doesn’t have to be boring and life can actually be fun without the use of alcohol. When sharing tonight, remember that a burden shared is halved, and a joy shared is doubled. In keeping with our Singleness of Purpose and our Third Tradition, which states, “The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking,” we ask that all who participate confine their discussion to their problems with alcoholism. We are all about the Traditions, the Message and the Program- as it is laid out in the Big Book.
