Notes for Friday

Each meeting will have a topic from G.S.O.-approved literature, such as the Big Book, Daily Reflections, Dr. Bob and the Good Old Timers, and, of course, the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions book. We will enjoy laughing with (not at) each other when we hear stories of what it was like, what happened, and what it’s like now. Playful banter in short quips will be acceptable. We will ensure any Newcomers (or ‘transplants’ who moved into the area) leave with reliable resources based on our knowledge of the Pacific Northwest’s Clean & Sober communities. This will be a safe meeting. Any ‘predatory behavior’ will not be tolerated. For your safety, we will be happy to walk you to your car if requested when you leave the 12 & 12. During the last fifteen minutes of each meeting, we will make sure any Newcomers who haven’t had an opportunity to share will get the chance to do so. We’ll make the coffee - please consider bringing some snacks to The 12 & 12 Fellowship Hall, 10011 Main Street, Bothell, Washington 98011
